Spincah -Methi Cutlets


Spinach-methi leaves cutlet 
------------------------------
(with some sweet corn and carrot)

Wanted to make my son eat some green vegetables and hence made this cutlet as he likes cutlets very much.
Here is how I made it



Spinach leaves - a handful
Methi (leaves alone) - a handful
Chop the leaves to small and blanch it in warm water for a few seconds
Sweet corn -1 cup (grinded coarsely) 
Green peas -2 tbsp
Mashed potato -2 nos
Onion -1 medium chopped
Carrot -1 small grated
salt as required
gharam masala -1/2 tspn
pepper powder -a pinch
Mix everything together with mashed potato. if it is not binding properly can add 1 or 2 bread slices or can add maida flour also. 

Make to small patties and roll on a batter of maida flour +corn flour+salt +cheese+tomato ketchup.
Roll on bread crumbs and fry.
serve with tomato kethcup

Spinach Chicken

Recipe:

Spinach -Half bunch chopped thin
Chicken meat without bones -250 gms
Onion -1 big
Capsicum -1/2
garlic -10 cloves
soya sauce -1/4 tspn
green chilli cause -2 tbspn
chilli garlic sauce -2 tspn
vineager -1/2 tspn



Chop the spinach and dry roast it in a kadai till all the water is evaporated.
Marinate chicken for 1 hr with salt, chilli powder, ginger garlic paste and gharam masala/chicken masala

Maida 2-3 tbspn
Corn flour -1 tbspn
salt as required
Green chilli sauce-1 tspn

make a paste of maida and corn flour with little salt and green chilli sauce and dip the marinated chicken pieces and deep fry in oil till golden brown. drain the oil and keep it aside.
In a separate pan heat some oil add chopped garlic, cubed onions and capsicum and saute for few seconds. Add spinach now and saute in oil. Add the chicken pieces and the sauces and vineager one after another. serve hot with white rice.

Spinach Malai with green gram


Paalak- Green gram Malai

Paalak - 1 bunch
green gram -1/2 cup soaked in water overnight
ginger- 1 inch sliced
Garlic- 4 cloves
Onion - 2 big sliced

Chop paalak to tiny pieces. Pressure cook green gram with 1 onion sliced, garlic , a pinch of turmeric powder, 1/2 tspn red chilli powder and salt.
In a kadai heat some oil crack mustard seeds.Saute the remaining sliced onions, 2-3 garlic cloves, and sliced ginger. Saute paneer till it is cooked. Add the green gram now. Adjust the amount of salt too. Add 2 tbspn of butter towards the end and when the gravy thicken. Serve with rice or roti
