Aloo Paneer

One more experiment done by me on Paneer. I will say this is a must try dish to go with rotis, naan or parathas. Why don't you prepare and enjoy this dish?

Paneer -100 gm
Potato -1 big
Onion - 2 big
Tomato -2 small
Garlic - 6-7 cloves (big one)
Ginger -1/2 inch size nicely chopped
Curry leaves and dhaniya patha for garnishing

Turmeric -1/4 tspn
Chilli powder -1 tspn
Coriander 1 1/4 tspn
Vegetable masala/gharam masala -1/2 tspn
Sugar -1 tspn

In a kadai heat oil and saute aloo and paneer cubes seperately and keep aside .(need not be cooked thoroughly in oil but just to shrink the size) In the same oil splutter few jeera seeds, when it start bursting add methi seeds. Add chopped garlic, ginger, curry leaves and onion.. saute very nicely till onions are golden brown. (add a pinch of salt to onions to reduce the cooking time). once onion is done add finely chopped tomatoes and saute till all the water is evaporated.. Add masalas one after the other except veg masala. sauting in between to avoid charring. Add 1 tsp of sugar also. Now add fried aloo cubes and then paneer cubes. Add 1 1/2 cup of water and cook till aloo is properly cooked. Finally add veg masala or gharam masala on top and cook with lid on. garnish and serve with Roti or Naan
